My first BlogRush Buddy nomination includes something to help you create a blog.
It helped me find 22 tips for things to do after setting up a new blog.
From the look of the site, I think I will find more.
First let me tell you about the BlogRush Buddy nomination.
Shrewdy, from a new site that gives technical tips for business web hosting, told me how he’d been BlogRushed by a related blogging help and advice site.
This is what he had to say:
I’ve just been BlogRushed by this great site - www.marcofolio.net.
At first, I wasn’t sure what the site was about, but after I’d read a couple of articles, it didn’t matter.
It’s a great personal blog that must be in the same category as me, Computers and Internet, but it’s got so much more that gives it a unique slant.
There are some fantastic pictures culled from the net, and a great article about Spam - including the best Spam video clip ever (reminds me of a misspent youth).
Highly recommended, and definitely one to subscribe to.
Shrewdy get’s his reward for telling his BlogRushing story with a link. I’ve decided to turn this into a competition. I will add the link to a competition blogroll. Visitors can vote, and the monthly winner get’s added to a permanent blogroll. I’ll post a competition form soon and describe this in more detail. He has declined his chance to include his own referral link for signing up to BlogRush, for reasons that might become apparent in time.
I’ve had a look at netfolio.net, and I loved it. I also got a nice surprise that reminds me what a small place the vast Internet can be, but that’s for another post.
It’s everything a blog should be. Personal. Well written. Interesting.
I delved a bit further, and realised that the author is Dutch. Hence the Dutch football picture.
The Dutch football strip orange was, of course, inspired by BlogRush orange.
